Pat’s distinctive playing style lies in his ability to apply his highly skilled and creative electric guitar technique to the acoustic guitar with great effect, drawing on a rich source of musical influences - RnB, contemporary rock and blues - developed over a thirty year career
Present Day - In 2001, Pat formed and continues to play in North East band, Blue Diamond. The CSN&Y esque Blue Diamond have gained a great reputation for its outstanding three (lead vocal) part harmonies and melodic electro-acoustic guitar renditions of 70’s blues rock classics, as well as for their original material.
Solo Work -Pat has recently finished writing and recording the music for a North East film trailer, “Acceptance”.
He is currently working on his first solo album with internationally renowned producer, Ron Angus (Studio One), based in the North East. The album is scheduled for completion in 2012. Pat is also putting the finishing touches to a live studio promo CD (one voice/one guitar) – showcasing several tracks from Pat’s live solo acoustic performances.
