The Baldy Holly Band are a gutsy Rock and Roll / Doo Wop outfit based in the North East of England. We play a variety of songs from the likes of Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran mixed up with a few Doo Wop classics such as Paul Anka’s Diana, Dion & The Belmonts Runaround Sue and Neil Sedaka’s Oh! Carol.....Jamie Bell (singer & guitarist) is quickly becoming a star on YouTube. With over 100+ videos posted and an army of fans he has wowed his audience with his musclebound renditions of Johnny B Goode, Twenty Flight Rock, Pretty Woman, The House Of The Rising Sun and some modern day classics such as Stand By Me, Oasis and Lindisfarne's Meet Me On The Corner..... Jamie and the boys are currently doing gigs as the Baldy Holly Band but are able to shrink things down to accommodate any venue.
